It might be best to call Tivo and explain the situation. They'll probably combine them into one account for you.

To insure martial bliss keep the accounts the way they are. She can use hers to record her shows & you can record what you want on yours.
We have two Tivo's and control both with one Tivo remote. Her dual tuner S2 is DVR1 and my Series 3 HD dual tuner is DRV2:)
I have a 36" Sony XBR flat screen tube (250 lbs) with PIP and we can toggle PIP between the two Tivo's and preview 4 channels. I'm reluctant to give it up for a LCD because they no longer have PIP
