Scientific Atlanta Cable Card Pixelation?

So I had bought a Tivo HD and had noticed some pixelation so I decided to get a new HDD to see if it helped. It seemed to some degree it did, and maybe due to the larger linux swap size everything seems to run a lot smoother. But there is still some pixelation mainly on non HD channels. Is this just due to the SA M Card im using?

I would think that a tiling problem would be more related to signal quality issues than the cablecard itself. Have you tried getting a tech out to look at it?

Yea, they said they where fine I use to have a booster then they said I didnt need it and just put in a splitter, but I still have the booster and when they said I didnt need it I just had regular cable and Cable Internet. Ill try putting it back on and see what happens.

Actually just looked and seems that they took the part that you plug into the outlet and run a coaxial from to power the unit. Guess Ill have to setup a truck roll.
