Can I Tivo PPV with Series3?

I have a Series3 Tivo (2 cablecards) and I have Verizon Fios. I know that I can call Verizon to order a pay-per-view, but my question is : can I Tivo the pay per view? The Fios rep said I couldn't, but I know they're typically fountains of misinformation. Thanks for your help!

I'd venture a guess that the CCI flags on the channel would indicate 'Copy Never' which TiVo would adhere to.

I have been able to view ppv on my Tivo, by using the cable companies internet or phone ordering system.

Now with my cable company it WILL let me record the PPV. But they do have the copy flag set at 0x02 which prevents me from MRV, TTG or any other movement of the recording.

Did you have to set a manual recording? I imagine so.
