Stupid TiVo HD question - no remote?

I just received a TiVo HD in the mail from Amazon, and I can't find a remote control at all. Does the unit not come with it now, or was there a packaging error?

You always get a remote.

I'd be looking at Amazon (head tilted to the right) for the missing remote.

Does the packaging look like it may have been a returned unit?

Was there a flat cardboard box with a manual and cables in it? At the top of that cardboard is a little flap that is covering the remote, if it is like my box. It took me a second look to find it too.

Also a Series 2 remote works just fine if it was your second Tivo. Glad you found the little peanut.

Tivo is kinda useless without a remote. I think the box needs a single button that sends a radio signal to the remote causing it to beep when you lose it.
