Sorry for the multiple forum posts, but...

I normally don't publicly promote a company. But I have to Say Lou and DVR Upgrades as a company absolutely ROCK.

The story is this, I have ALWAYS had good service from Lou and his company. The other day I bought the upgrade to VideoReDo Plus (TV Suite) (Which is a fantastic editor for the tivo I highly recommend either version, but that is another story) and I had my paypal setup to come out of my back and was waiting 3 days (The way I have my account setup but thats my fault) for the transaction to clear and BEFORE I had a chance to download the upgrade Lou emailed me and said I might have a problem with my transaction, gave me the fix and had my yet to be discovered problem fixed. Thats right the problem that I hadn't found yet was fixed and was contacted by the owner of the company. That is what I call customer service. The only thing more they could have done was install the program for me.

Is that a sevice you plan on offering soon?

In all seriousness They have a loyal customer for life.

Hey thx, I appreciate the good feedback.

Actually, at one time, we did offer remote installation services of our DVRchive stuff on Series1 units (the user had to provide telnet/ftp access to the unit for us to do it though) but it wasn't really that popular. I know that is not what you were asking, but I do remember, several years ago, sitting in a Wendy's parking lot in Clearwater, FL installing TiVoWeb with a SideKick... :)
