S3 OLED display question & a question about the history on the to do list...

Quick question regarding the S3's OLED display & a question regarding the history page on the to do list.

1. When changing the clocks brightness to its bright setting it seems to default back to the dim / normall setting. Whats up with that ?

2. Now about the history page on the to do list. Is there any way to get it to display only recordings that wont record because of schedualing conflicts with other shows. The only reason I ask this and I'm sure alot of you would agree with me is because I could care less whats not going to record because its already been shown / played. What I'm more concerned with is whats not going to record due to schedualing conflicts with other shows and like I said I'm sure alot of you would agree with me on this one.

That would be its default and normal behavior, always has been. :(
The suspicion is that once upon a time the setting was going to actually do something, but to keep OLED life longer, it never actually changes the intensity of the OLED.

In addition to the above two questions one of which has already been answered I wanted to add another quickie.

When changing channels on the S3 it briefly (couple of seconds) displays the searching for signal screen before it picks up the channel for lack of a better description. Is this normal behavior, the S3 in question was just set up last night but all appears to be working flawlessly.

Edit : I do have digital service with my provider but have yet to add the CC's to the unit so right now its just picking up the basic channels like it would if I had the coax running directly to my TV.

My S3 (which I had for a year so far) works fine. But my TiVoHD does this.

My S3 has cable cards (digital cable), the TivoHD is analog cable (and QAM)+OTA...

I noticed while flipping around it doesnt seem do it all the time just once n a while so maybe its a hiccup in the signal from my cable provider.
