Watch Programming from other DVRs

Has D* talked about adding a feature to watch recorded items from other DVRs that are on the same Ethernet network?

I have 2 DH DVRs and it would be nice to reduce the amount of 'recording' going on if I knew I would be able to watch any program on any DVR. I think TiVo still offers this feature but I have not heard any talk about offering it for us on the D* DVRs.

TiVo has it on standalone boxes only, not (unhacked) DTiVos.
