I got Tivo HD unit just a couple of weeks ago. I am already a Rhapsody subscriber and had played a few albums through it already. Similarly I had already linked it to my Amazon account and bought a couple of Unbox videos through it. I went to use those features today, and they aren't listed in the menus anymore! What happened to them!? I did upgrade my Tivo Desktop software on one machine recently, and installed pyTivo on another, could either of those things have messed it up somehow? On a similar note, right this second the pyTivo is not showing up on the Tivo but the Tivo Desktop client is. Anyone have thoughts?

Sounds like you lost the broadband connection to the TiVo. Force a connection to see if that succeeds, and reboot yout modem & router if necessary.

thing-fish if you will unlink and then power cycle your modem, router, adapter, and tivo for 30 seconds and then return power to the tivo only and wait for the tivo to power completly back up and then return power to the modem, wait 30 seconds, return power to your router and wait until you get back to the phone and network settings screen then plug in your adapter and you should see network adapter detected and then force a connection to the tivo service and then go to your pc then re-link your accounts you should be good to go. find me and add me to your buddy list and let me know through pm if you have any more trouble

Don't forget to stand on your head, twirl around three times and chant during the 30 second power cycle....

I did force a connection to Tivo and it worked, and also tried rebooting the Tivo a couple of times, but none of those things helped with the missing Rhapsody/Unbox :( I haven't tried rebooting the router but I guess I can give that a shot, even though all the other inter- and intra-net services in our house are working OK.
Thanks for the help everybody, I'll report back later.

I did force a connection to Tivo and it workedI assume you made a connection through your network and not via the phone line.
Can you access Yahoo Weather on the Music, Photos & More menu?

I am indeed connecting through the home network and not the phone line (using wireless). And you asked a great question...Yahoo Weather is ALSO missing from the list!!!

I had a similar issue a few months ago after a TiVo software update. After banging my head against the wall numerous times (surprisingly with no success) I got through to someone in TiVo support who had me open a bunch of ports on my router which ended up working. You can read the exact steps I took here (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=5610840#post5610840).
Hope this helps.

thing-fish most of the times powercycling everything and doing it in that exact order and timely manner works. all your doing is giving everything a fresh restart. thank you dylanemcgregor i almost forgot about the ports.

Opening ports might help, but I haven't specifically opened any router ports and have only occasionally experienced problems. When I have had a problem I was able to solve it by a modem and router reboot.

I'm hitting a brick wall. I called Tivo support and as I suspected they suggested exactly what you folks suggested: reboot everything in order. We did that, and it still didn't appear. They gave me a list of ports to open on my router to try next. Of course, I haven't *changed* my router since the time when this stuff was working, but there you go. So I set up port triggering for all of the specified ports...to no avail, all the standard stuff in the Music Photos and More section is missing, even as some apps.tv things and my Tivo Desktop shares are showing up.
So I'll take them up on their invitation to call them back if the port opening didn't work. Thanks again for the assistance, everyone.

Sorry that that didn't work for you. Did you power cycle everything after you opened the ports? It wasn't until I restarted the TiVo again after opening ports on my router that things were back to normal again.
And I had been just like you where things had been working fine for quite awhile with no ports manually configured on my router...so I was quite skeptical that this would work...but it did.
Of course since then I've moved and had to completely reset my router, and this time everything works again without manually opening the ports...so go figure.

thing-fish, send me a PM with your 15-digit TiVo Service Number so we can look at it from our end.

Well, I don't know 100% which part did it, but everything is back to normal again. In the end I completely reset my router (which was a tremendous pain to get set back up again!), but I *believe* that it may have even been working just prior to that (I actually didn't intend to reset it but that ended up happening during one of the power cycles)
Unfortunately I still don't know what happened or how to prevent it from happening again. Right now other than enabling port forwarding on two ports (so I can access my music library through SqueezeCenter over the internet), and reserving a few LAN IP addresses for stuff like my printer (see the pain part above)...the router is completely stock config with no ports set up for forwarding or triggering, no UPNP, etc. And yet now everything works. I just hope it doesn't happen again, this was frustrating!
Thanks again everyone VERY much for the assistance, this forum is wonderful and I hope I can give back.
