Buying TiVo for Puerto Rico

Does anyone here has been successful in buying a TiVo for use in Puerto Rico?
Even though they do not officially sell to Puerto Rico through the internet, a costumer service employee told me the service does work here, i just had to buy the unit from a local store. Seeing as how expensive stores sell them, I decided to buy it from tivo.com, send it to a family member in Florida, and then ship it here. Unfortunately i haven't been able to buy through their website. Every time I try to checkout I receive the error : Payment Authorization Failed.

Has anyone had this same problem?
I'm going crazy, and I refuse to pay over $250 for the unit.

I'd appreciate the help.

More than likely the address you are shipping it to doesn't match what the credit card company has on file for your billing address. You may have to order over the phone.

I suspected that, and I changed my credit card address to match the shipping one, but no go.

Did you actually call your credit card company and add the address? Even if you did, it can sometimes take a day or so before the authorization systems are updated with the new address.
