View Full Version : New 500gb drive still shows capacity of original 160gb drive

Friends,
I just completed an upgrade of my new Tivo HD with a new 500gb drive. It works well except for the capacity under Tivo-System Info still says 20 hours HD etc... Shouldn't it say about 65 hours HD etc...I used WinMFS to perform the copy of the original 160. Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Did you use the MFSsupersize option on

YES..You did not add the extra space when the copy was finished and you were given that option (or you should have been). You can fix this by using the WinMFS add function. The super size function just adds about 10% to the usable disk space.
