MRV - Tivo Name Not Changing

Hello all. I just got a TivoHD and moved the S2-DT to the bedroom. it had a goofy name from a long time ago but i didn't even notice it since it was my only one. now i've changed it to "Bedroom" and the TivoHD to "Living Room" to differentiate on the MRV. the TivoHD picked up the name right away and the S2 sees "Living Room" on the Now Playing screen. however, even with multiple reboots on both machines and forced connections to the server, the TivoHD still sees the S2's old name displayed.

I had a similar problem once. It will eventually change. It took my series 2 almost 1 week for it to accept the new name.

Patience - my friend. That is the only solution..... and that came straight from very knowledgeable Tivo CSRs. They say no matter how many times you boot, or force connection it is not going to help. Even they cannot force it down. It will happen on its own.

I gave up after three reboots and 5 forced connections. The name did change after 14 hours.

weird. thanks for the responses, guess i'll just have to live with it till then.
