im wondering if the new software got pushed, as all my channels just started showing up all TBA, restarted it to try and force a guide download but still all showing to be announced. im at middleware version 5.8.09 and tivo sw version te-1.0.2-0021-01-01-001
this is on both my dch boxes...
anyone else?

Can't you just call your work (comcast) and ask them if the new software was pushed to your box?

lol, not as easy as it sounds
although, i still have no guide data, and she wants to record dancing with the stars tonight :(

Can't you do a manual recording? Not sure about the Comcast box, but all other TiVos have a way to setup a manual recording like a VCR. (i.e. enter channel, start and end time)

I had a feeling something happened, because one of my shows that recorded today has a length of 0:00 minutes, and when I play it, nothing happens. I bet that's what it is!

Im getting the same missing guide data.. im on the phone with comcast now.. he said that the firmware update has not happened yet, but it is scheduled for later this week. I have reported that i am not the only one having this problem.
They sent it to engineering, they also asked that i suggest that anyone else having this problem call in and report the problem so it gets a higher priority.

Just wanted to add in that I am also having the same "to be announced" across the board problem, but my schedules season pass recording at 8:00 pm has just started, Titl, description, and working properly. Weird

Add me to the list without Guide data.
Last week we had no OnDemand, until I thought to reboot, when it magically returned. I think I'll try yet another PUNT to see what happens with the guide data.

my guide data seems to be back, i would guess that it is/was a problem with tivo's guide provider

and to all the others having the problem right now, please do not let them schedule a tech visit, all it does is give the tech who installed it a repeat trouble call on his install and wont help the problem because all we can do is swap the box and then you lose all your recordings/season passes.
the only reason to have a tech visit is if the hardware fails (all 88:88 and rebooting)

Huh, I noticed a long pause during a program playback (~10seconds).
After the pause, I noticed my guide data had returned. No reboot.
