I can't seem to find anyone else having this problem.

When I search by Title, Wishlist I'm only seeing a fraction of the content. At first I thought it was just missing items I have on my Season Pass.

One example I have. I have a Season Pass for Jericho. It taped last week but doesn't have this weeks in the To Do List. I do search in Title and Wishlist and there is no Jericho Listed. I then go to record by channel, select the appropriate time and channel, and it's there. I select to record, and then it will appear in my To Do List.

I've rebooted it multiple times. Turned off Parental Controls. The only thing I can think of trying is resetting the Recording Options which I'll try if nobody here can offer a fix. I plan on upgrading, but I've been putting it off until I catch up on about 12 recorded shows -- and w/ my schedule that could take 2 months.

(Is there a way to dump this content onto a MPEG-4 machine?)

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

Sounds as if the guide data isn't getting indexed. How long after a reboot did you wait to check the guide? I suggest waiting overnight.

This happened recently to my HR10 when it lost signal for a day or two due to a dish that had slipped out of alignment. A reboot fixed it (but I waited a while to check.)

There is no way to transfer recordings to a DirecTV MPEG4 DVR.

Good call Steve

It seemed to fix itself this evening. Now that you bring up loosing my signal, we actually got 5" of snow last week in Dallas, TX and I lost my signal for about 4 hours.

When ever a strong wind knocks my dish out of alignment (wimpy mounting solution) and I lose some of the satellite signal my HR10-250 goes nuts. It locks up, loses guide data, and goes epileptic on me. Once I realign the dish, all is well when the guide data catches up.

Sometimes the guide data changes slightly and an old SP won't pick up the program any more. I've had this happen a number of times on my HR10. Just delete the SP and re-add it using the guide to select the program. This may fix the problem.
