Has anyone else seen an issue with OTA signal strength on an HR10-250 that started around the time that 6.3f rolled out? I have had two different HR10s for over 3 years now and they have always been able to get all of the local OTA channels. One of the HR10s is hooked up to the same Channel Master antenna that is used by my Series 3 and my HR20. The Series 3 and the HR20 are not having any issues with OTA signals.
Suddenly after 3 years of having an excellent signal neither of the HR10s can pick up 8-1 or 20-1 in Indianapolis.
Any thoughts?

I've seen no change on my two HR10-250s, but I'm only 17 miles from the broadcast towers.

I just checked my distance on AntennaWeb.org (http://www.antennaweb.org) and all of the OTA channels are less than 18 miles away from me. Also all of them have a compass heading between 228 & 232 degrees.
Just tested the signal strength meter on my Series 3 which is hooked to a Channel Master StealthTenna (http://www.amazon.com/Channel-Master-3010-Outdoor-rooftop/dp/B0009FJEUS) and the results are as follows:
6-1 --> 91
8-1 --> 98
13-1 --> 90
20-1 --> 81
59-1 --> 92
The HR10-250 that is hooked to the same antenna got:
6-1 --> 76/71
8-1 --> 22/25
13-1 --> 71/71
20-1 --> 22/16
59-1 --> 65/65
The second HR10-250 is hooked to a Silver Sensor (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-PHDTV1-Silver-Digital-Antenna/dp/B0007XDI54/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1205195990&sr=8-1) antenna:
6-1 --> 92
8-1 --> 25
13-1 --> 92
20-1 --> 88
59-1 --> 92
Just checked the now playing list on that second HR10 and it has 8 episodes of Big Bang Theory that taped between 11/26 & 1/21. All of these recorded perfectly off of 8-1. It also has an episode of Jericho off of 8-1 from 2/19 that is perfect.

That appears on the surface to be pretty damning evidence. I will wait patiently for corroboration.
That said, the tuners are hardware modules, and I don't see how a GUI up rev could have any affect on how they do their business.
I would contact the stations directly, and ask for the engineering department. Maybe they went to low power for maintenance. You're sure you don't have any new obstructions, or reflective surfaces? (trees are starting to leave out)
I think the S3 uses a later-gen tuner than the HR10.

'Trees are starting to leave out' the strong signals? :D (sorry couldn't resist- interesting array of vocabulary).

I spoke with the WISH TV engineers during my lunch today. It sounds as if they might have been making some changes about the time that the HR10s started acting up. I have a couple of things to test tonight and will post the results then.

No luck. The engineer that I spoke with implied that they had experienced some luck with some other DirecTV users over the last few weeks. His recommendations were to first rescan the OTA channel list, and if that did not work then to clear the scanned channel list and rescan. It did not make any difference.
