Hi,
I noticed last night that I'm getting UHD on both channel 74 and channel 259 on my HR10-250 (didn't check my HR20)! Both appear to be HD broadcasts.
I did a search and didn't see that anybody else has noticed this recently. Anybody have any idea what's going on?
Thanks!

Yes, a lot of channels are being moved to their long-term channel slot.
They are starting the preperation of people getting used to HD channels outside that original tiny window of the 70-90's... and the channels being in the new location..
Just the first step of many, to the long term transistion of the original channel offerings.

Hmm - OK - I guess I was surprised that it was working on my HR10-250 though. (e.g. TNT for example still is in SD on channel 245, but on the HR20's it's in HD because of the MPEG 4 stream).

TNT on 245 should still be working for you, as it is still in MPEG-2...
It has not be converted to MPEG-4.

Oh, it's working just fine - it's just not in HD on the HR10-250 (unlike the HR20 units) - you have to go the "70's" channels for the HD stream.
That's what I found a bit surprising - both HD streams for UHD are on 74 and 259.
In other words, channel 259 is still MPEG 2.

So the other 3 HD only channels will now be moving?

Unlike TNT, UHD is ONLY transmitted in HD, so the new channel will also be HD. TNT, OTOH, is SD on 245 and HD in the '70s (unless you have an HR2x).

Oh my! I get to correct Earl?
TNT will only show as SD on the HR10 at 245 because the HR10 cannot handle the dual channels (SD and HD) on the same number.
UHD has no SD counterpart, so it will show up on 259 on the HR10.

Ahh... you are right... Forgot about that.
Thank you for the correction.

Yes, going back and reading what you posted...
Just wasn't as clear (and I didn't connect the dots)

OK, just making sure I'm not going crazy. Well, I am, but that's a different story!
