I was going to put this in a poll but since there are too many "twists" I'll leave it an open question.

While I HATE that they have so many radical twists in this game, some of the twists have actually worked out, while others have been total disasters. So I'm interested in everyone's thoughts. What has been the best ever twist during the many seasons of BB? What has been the worst? To get it started here's mine:

1) Best Twist - America's Player: I think that THIS twist, while radical, worked well because it was REALLY interesting to see if Eric:

would be able to manipulate the houseguests to do his bidding
Would vote with America?
Would be able to keep his role a secret
Would be severly handicapped by the role (which it turned out, it might have cost him a chance at winning)

2) Worst Twist - Tie - Bring back evicted houseguest: Why do they insist on doing this year after year? If you are evicted, you should STAY evicted. Period, the end. It just doesn't work for me, and it rarely has much of an effect on the game. The only time I think it actually had an effect was perhaps the first time with Amy, but that was because she was drunk half the time and she did and said stupid things that were funny.

Ex-factor was the best twist

Bringing back evicted HG's is the worst. How many chances did we give Kaysar?

Were you going to mention another bad twist?

Did Eric have the option to not vote with America? I didn't think so, but I have short-term memory issues :p I also thought that he shouldn't have been forced to keep it a secret. It would have been interesting to see how it would have played out if others knew about it. Other than that, I thought that it was a great twist.

I did love America's Player but I thought they could have done a lot better job of it. I LOVED when "America" got to make him do weird things like the mustard or getting people to say certain things....but most of the things BB gave us the option to vote on were really stupid.

No, by a TIE I meant the many times they've brought back evictees.

I actually liked the couples twist, but the switch back to singles twist is lame because it's not really a twist. Just a theory of mine, but I think it was a pre-planned way to run a short season or a long season depending on how the writer's strike went. If the writer's strike had ended quickly and CBS thought they could get shows back on quickly I'd bet we'd wrapping up BB in a couple of weeks. It's not a coincidence that we didn't start hearing rumors of an end date in April until a couple of weeks ago.

I think he could have disregarded it if he chose, but he wouldn't have gotten the money for each time he got America's choice to work (IIRC it was $10,000 per pop). I even thought he considered it one time, I forget the situation, but I think it was about keeping someone in the game he thought everyone was voting out. Something like that.

It was actually $10K for every five successful tasks.

I enjoyed the Adria/Natalie twist until it was revealed and they became unbearable.

Ya, that's what I thought. I just don't remember Chenbot ever actually asking for his vote.

Eric has said in interviews that he had to play along with America if he were going to be let in the game at all. They told him before entering the house and then he was given the choice to do it or try out for another season. (Because if he said he wouldn't do it then they couldn't put him in the house that season since he would've already known the twist)

Any twist that involved two HGs knowing each other has been a bust to me. The ex-factor, the twins, the enimies...they all suck. I like it better when everyone is 100% complete strangers.

I thought one of the coolest things was the secret room. It's too bad everyone found out right away, because it was so fun to have an extra room that no one knew about in the house.

He didn't get an option about the voting. If you noticed, the Chenbot never asked him what his vote was. It was just a formality. He did have the choice to do or not do the tasks. I thought that was a really good twist and I liked that he couldn't tell until the end.

I did like the first time they introduced the survailance TV in the HH room. That secret didn't last long though.

I liked the twin one. AND they actually kept their secret. How many of these morons give up their secrets!

I did not like America's Choice. MAINLY because Eric was so annoying.

If they are going to do these "surprise twists" were people are keeping secrets, there should be a caveat where if anybody finds out their secret, they are immediately put up for eviction or something. There needs to be some consiquence to revealing your secret.

To me the best twist by far was the Twin twist. The fact that right up to the moment Natalie walked in to the house, NO ONE in house had a clue, made it special. Adia and Natalie played it so perfectly, they fooled every. (The looked of "I'm F'd" on Jase's face was priceless.

America's Choice is close, but, since America was favoring ED, I hated it for most of the season. However, because the players never knew what was happening, it was fun to watch.

I am tired of "bring back a houseguest" twist, been there, done that.

For real...what a great twist! They should just replace one evicted HG from each couple that was been evicted with an All Star HG :D

THAT would be a killer twist. Just when you think you know your compition in the game BAM you're in with some of the best players in BB history!

I personally like when they bring back previous houseguests. It mixes things up and keeps people from feeling too secure.

I wish they did it more.

The worst twists are the ones with secret relationships.

The very worst twist was last year with the non-secret relationships.

I just wonder if we wouldn't have more dramatic exits if they knew that the person they just voted out wasn't coming back.

Except most times when they do All-Stars, it's NOT the best players, but the most popular or contriversial. With a few exceptions, All-Stars are never the game winners.

What I'd love to see for an All-Stars is a house half filled with Game winners and half filled with losers. Make them team up somehow.

(For Survivor, they could make two tribes like that).

On second thought, forget it, I HATE twists :)
