Nice move by James to out Matt in front of the other couples! Well played, good sir!
I wonder why Joshuah and Sharon were not happy about becoming individuals. Everyone else was frickin' ecstatic.
And man, Allison is one sorry creature. Good riddance.

Agreed! on all counts. Nat didn't look too thrilled with the change of plans, either. So, her friends say she always comes on a bit too strong - well, at least it's not just because Matty's such a sweetie.
Oh, and I would have won HOH. How sad am I that I knew all those answers. :o This show is the worst train wreck... I wish I could stop watching. ;)
Did you vote? I want Alex to come back...

I don't care who comes back. I'm curious as to who America will pick, though.

Me, too. Should be interesting, and I doubt it will be Allison or Jacob.
I might also toss a few votes to Pockah, while I'm at it. :)

Matt has gotta be kissing Ryans butt now. He knows he is a target. I hate it when house guests come back. That's the worse twist there is.

I want to vote for the worst people, just so the house can get messed up again. I say either Allison, Amanda, or Jen.. I don't want to send in someone they would be happy about

Oh no! I don't want to have to watch those people again.

I'm not sure that I want to see them either, but the interactions between all of them would be worth it
I can just imagine the te DR sessions after they learn that Allison or Amanda are back in the house

So who was surprised that the "Expect the Unexpected" was that they were playing as singles?
No one? Shocking that everyone guessed that. When the hamsters are already sure what the big surprise is, it's not a big surprise. James was trying to make up other possibilities and he wasn't great at it. :p Anyone that can do math could tell there wouldn't be many episodes left if they didn't make this change.

I so want Allison back in the House, just to tick the rest of the Houseguests off.
Why did they need a siren to go off to announce the twist? Just another stupid part of this season.

I was glad Allison left and Ryan stayed.
Of the people to come back, Alex would be on the top of my list, but I voted for Amanda, because she is the one most likely to annoy Josh.

Expect the unexpected? The twist was lame, how would that be unexpected?
I disagree that James calling out Matt was a good play. He was doing it as some noble gesture. Noble gestures don't win Big Brother. He would have been better off keeping the info quiet and using it to manipulate Matt.
I vote for Allison coming back. Nothing would piss off people more and pissed off people make for a good show! Doesn't matter though, whoever comes back will only be there a week.

I voted for Alex, Amanda and Jen to come back...I'd be happy with any of those 3. Who do I think is coming back? Parker.

Looking around at different boards it seems that Alex or Jen might be the leading choices.
Reasons for Alex include "because he's cute" or because he was the only one who was evicted "wrongly". Evidently he was only evicted because of Amanda and that wasn't fair.
Reasons for Jen are mainly because it would make Ryan happy.:rolleyes: People don't get it. Happy hamsters are boring hamsters.

Yea, but Happy Hamsters who have already had sex in the house and, after being apart for nearly a month, want to have more sex makes for better BBAD. :D
That being said, I will be voting for Allison. Anything we can do screw Joshua's game and piss him off is a good thing in my book.

I knew they would be going to singles from week one. Again, the math said that it HAD to go that way. Even if the couples were actually clicking (seriously, there's not ONE supposed soul mate that has actually worked out that way), it would have made more sense to split them up at some point and watch them turn on each other. In fact, the fact that it's NOT working is going to make the split even LESS interesting.
I HATE when they bring back voted out houseguests. My thought is that if you were voted out already, then why should you be allowed to come back?
I reiterate, this IS the worst season of BB EVER!!. But as SoBell0 has said, I can't stop watching. But I CAN say, I don't look forward to it like I used to. I watch because I am invested in the season and I want to see how it plays out.

I wish there was a way for Allison and Jen to come back in the house.....now that would make for some drama with Ryan!!!
As it stands, I'll probably vote for Amanda. At least she's nice to look at and pretty good for causing drama.

I stopped watching faithfully a few weeks back but have kept up with the threads here and watched a minute or two when Penny was watching.
I think I'll start up again - I really disliked the couples twist and find only a few house guests that are remotely likable.

This is the first season where I don't find ANY of the houseguests as likeable - usually there are always one or 2 that I root for - but this time - I can't stand any of them.
This week's "twist" = totally lame = we all knew it was coming.
I love the fact that James outed Matty's gameplan - he's such a tool - I'm lovin' that his strategies are completely transparent to everyone.
Josh - must be very worried - he probably has the biggest target on his back this week.
Evicted houseguest coming back?
Lame again - they should have found a way to twist this twist - like a contestant from a previous season or a celebrity or someone no one knows...
I'd hate to see any of the 6 losers who went come back - but the biggest loser has to be Jacob - so I say we all vote for him.

I agree, nobody is "likeable" I kind of liked Matt/Natalie until this past week when Matt just seemed like an a-hole when he was outted and Natalie has more air in her head than in her chest. James is ok, but there's something about him I just don't like. I think he's a bit too cocky. And his partner is just a waste of TV bandwidth flying under the radar.
This was the most predictable big surprise ever. Is BB running out of twists?
BTW, does anyone know if there's still going to be a summer edition of BB?

I think Ryan is ok, but there hasn't been much said about him and they really don't show too much of him on the shows. I was actually pretty happy that he won HOH. I would not have been disappointed with who won the HOH between the last 2 players. I'm hoping that Ryan is smart enough to see through Matt and tosses him out this week.

Naw, I think we're gonna see some boy bonding alliances and if Alex comes back forget it. It'll be 4-horseman 2.
My money is Josh is one up for eviction - not sure who the second will be yet. If he was smart - Sharon - then they'd be forced to go against each other.

Instead of just outting Matt, James should have explained the reasoning. If James voted A out, Matt voted B out & that tool Josh broke the tie by getting rid of A, B would think the vote against them was from James.
I so hope they don't bring back manic depressive Parker. He was such a knob.

This is true.. this could be the 1 good thing that comes up with breaking up the couples.. if couples are targeted and put up together forcing them to go against eachother I would love to see Matt up against Nat.

That would clinch it. I'd NEVER watch BB again if they did. 3x losers shouldn't get a 4th chance. I could never figure out the love for that guy (or Janellle for that matter), but I digress....

the other thing that's cracking me up is the houseguests seem oblivious to the Jericho tie-ins.
granted if i had been sequestered in the house, i wouldn't have gotten the red river virus but the competition with the nuts, i would have figured that out in 10 seconds.

Yea, how do you tie in a post nuclear war show with violent politicians to the BB show? That doesn't make sense, why not tie in to some social life type of show, or even a soap opera on CBS, makes more sense. Especially with Jericho almost at end of episodes, what is there to promote?
On All-stars didn't they tie it in to Charles Nelson Riley and the successful How'd I do with your mother show on CBS, that one made alot more sense to promote than Jericho. Didn't Will get to meet him or something? I wonder if stars from Jericho will then show up for this, maybe bring an a-bomb or something, or hold a nuclear confrontation? Hard to figure a good tie in for that show to this one.
As for houseguest coming back, Cain suggested Jacob, I only recall a Jacob in LOST, the invisible guy Ben goes to see. Now THAT would be a geat person to bring into BB indeed!! But, that is an ABC show so I sure doubt it.

Jacob was the ex-boyfriend who was voted off - what - the first week?
http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother_9/bio/jacob/bio.php
There was a competition - I can't even remember what it was - but the backyard was covered in nuts and there was some reference to the Red River Virus - wait - isn't it the Hudson River Virus? - I coulda sworn Matty said last night Red River... anyways...
Hudson River Virus is a sub-plot on Jericho and the nuts were a reference to the whole fan bring back Jericho by sending CBS nuts.

I voted for Amanda. She's guileless (unlike Allison) but still hated by Josh. But, if Jokers is any clue, it will be Alex--he's the fantasy male this season for those women.
Matt should have reminded the noble James about his broken promise not to put Matt on the block. Not that is would have helped him with Ryan and Adam, but you can't allow someone to get the "moral" highground in this game (see Josh vs Allison).
Never watched Jericho.

I think it actually said Jericho on the barrels that the peanuts were in. But it's still a stretch to conect that to "the latest news" on the electronic board

I guarantee the Crab Man will be coming back because he was evicted mostly because of his airhead partner giving up the boyfriend in the house secret that if played properly could have taken her far.
The fake lesbian would be fun for another week just to tweak the angry gay man, but then would get voted right out, the house hates her. At least Crab Man will stay around for a while and kind of got screwed because of the couples theme and the secret couple in the house failed twist.

I still contend that "Crab Man" (Parker) screwed himself by not playing that secret correctly. Same goes with the "fake lesbian" (Allison). They both took it as a personal insult and tragedy rather than use it to their advantage.

If they could have kept their mouths shut about the secret they could have gone far... and it could have stretched to singles votes.

Yes, they had the perfect setup for a secret rock solid final four block and blew it.
Nothing that we don't see people do year after year in these shows. Get an alliance and everyone keep there mouth shut. But someone almost always spills the beans.
Maybe Crab Man doesn't deserve to come back.

So, do the houseguests really not know how long the show was going to go for? I'm surprised... ok, maybe not, that no one did the math to figure out that they were losing too many people way too fast
