Power went out, now nothing...

My power went out today. When things came back on, I can't get the TIVO to do anything. I've checked all audio/video cables. I have a Series 2. I have Direct TV. The two lights on the front of the machine are on non-stop. No buttons on my remote work. I cannot go to Tivo central or do anything. Before I take it somewhere for someone to tell me it's fried, I thought I'd check here. Any suggestions?

Unplug the tivo from your wall jack and plug back in 15 mintues.

This is a symptom others have had, especially after a power failure. It usually requires that the power supply in the TiVo be replaced. Incidents such as this are why I strongly recommend putting DVRs on a battery-backed-up power supply (UPS).
