Completely lose sound from Tivo

I tested all my connections, changed cables, everything. My Tivo all of a sudden stops having sound. I have to restart the system to get audio again, but half way into the show it happens again. I know it's not the tv cause I have other cable boxes hooked to it and it works fine. It's not the cable box that is hooked to the Tivo cause I tested it directly to the tv and programs that were already recorded and were working fine, have no sound now.
Is this something that can be easily fixed, or do you recommend I send it in to get fixed? I thank you in advance for your help.

How is it connected? RCA or Coax? Try which ever you are not using.

I've tried with RCA and S-Video and coaxial, so I'm guessing it's coming from the Tivo itself? The old shows have sound recorded, but the new one are recording with no sound at all. It's also not the cable box cause I connected it directly to the TV and it works.
