I have two normal Series-2 DVR's (no Dual Channel, no HD, no DVD) attached to Antenna only. My 2 TV's and 2 VCR's are also strictly Analog. I am 'looking forward' to 2009 when analog signals will disappear completely.

First of all, since Series-2 is strictly Analog, what sort of Set-Top Box do I need so that I can receive ALL Digital Channels and then pass them on to the TIVO(s) in Analog (So I can program TIVO just as I do today to select ANY available channel). (In other words a Set-Top Box that must be set to a specific digital channel to then pass that same channel on to the TV or DVR is UNACCEPTABLE since it will only work to convert one channel from digital to analog at a time)

Secondly, do I need 1 or 2 of the Set-Top Boxes (since I have two TIVOs) ??
(or possibly more if I consider all my TIVOs, VCR's and TV's)

Can I attach one of these Set-Top Boxes to my MAIN TV input from the Antenna and then distribute them out to ALL components??

OR is there some way I can somehow convert the tuners in my Series-2's to also accept digital??? Notice that I said 'ALSO' because I do want to receive all my current programs in Analog also.

well firstly... as to the title of your post... you can not get HD on a series 2 tivo, that is not possible...

you will need two digital cable boxes, which you must hook up to the tivos via composite or s-video, each tivo can use the included IR blaster to control these boxes... your tivo should connect to your tv the same as it is now.

connecting one of these boxes to your main tv input will do nothing... the tivo will control this box so there will be nothing there... should you want to be able to watch something live while both tivos are recording, you will need to aquire a third cable box to connect to the television directly...

there is no way for you to configure these boxes to accept a digital signal on their own...

you mention "looking forward to 2009" and yet wish to continue to receive channels in analog... these two statements seem to counter each other... can you elaborate a little more on what you actually want to do in practice, maybe one of us can suggest a better way to hook things up, or an efficient way to upgrade some equipment and use older equipment as well.

I read "looking forward to 2009" as "preparing for 2009 ( :( )" NOT "can't wait for 2009 to arrive ( :) )".

(or possibly more if I consider all my TIVOs, VCR's and TV's)
You'll need an STB for each TiVo, VCR, TV, etc that you want to be able to "tune" independently of all the others (you could connect several devices to the same STB, but then those devices would always 'see' the same signal).

You can actually do this now with old Voom boxes. See this thread: http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=5117975#post5117975.
Before you buy, make sure they are still activated and can scan for local OTA channels. As you can see from my sig, I have 2 of my S2's setup with these.

The Voom boxes work for a few reasons:

They are Motorola boxes and use the same remote codes as Mot cable boxes
TiVo's do not yet support tuning sub-channels via IR codes but the Voom boxes are digital OTA only and tuning to say channel 8 will tune to the first sub-channel; i.e., 8-1.
Dish local HD channels are mapped to the same channel number as the locals so you have valid guide data by telling TiVo you have a Motorola brand receiver with Dish service.

There has been a lot of speculation which, if any, of the cheap HD receivers TiVo will support.
