I watched the first one and thought it was OK. Should I spend more time with it.
One big question, answer without spoilers please, does it end well, as in does the story complete to a satisfactory conclusion, and not leave us hanging if the show does not return, a little I understand but not too much.
Thanks

If you're only watching for the end result, no, just read how it ended.
If you want some sci-fi entertainment, watch it. It was good.

As is, the show does not "end". If BIH Fox cancels it, there is no conclusion (aside from Judgment Day).

Thanks, I was going to post this same thread myself. I haven't even watched the first one yet. My son watched the first couple and didn't get into it. I don't think he's seen the movies though, if that would make a difference.

One of my favorite new shows.
It ends on a cliffhanger, so if that is not a satisfactory conclusion then...
I'm sure hoping it comes back next year.

I'm only four episodes in and I love it.

It was good. It ended in an odd spot but I'm happy I watched it, even if Fox fails to renew it. There were only one or two episodes of the run that felt like total filler, which I thought was a pretty good success rate.

Alrightly, I'm convinced and I shall continue to watch it :)
The season ended prematurely, due to the writers strike. Obviously the story doesn't end to satisfactory, planned conclusion.
The show isn't a mini-series so the story line assumes there will be future shows.
I'd wait a few weeks and see if it's going to be picked up next year before investing any more time.

I think it would make a difference to a certain point. There are some things that they reference from those movies (not T3) that if you don't know about them from having seen the movies, you won't really understand why they are doing certain things.
It was good pop Sci-Fi entertainment. Don't go looking for Firefly, BSG, or Babylon 5. They are in the NCAA tournament. T:TSCC is in the runners up tournament whose name I can't recall.

Don't go looking for Firefly, BSG, or Babylon 5.Yeah, it's not as overrated as those shows.

This show suffers from on-the-bubble cliffhangeritis. I recommend vertigo medicine, better on-network promotion, high foreign ratings, and boredom inhibitors so it doesn't lose half its audience again.

It's better than 24 or prison break but not fantastic. Since there's not much else on right now, I say go for it.

Thanks everyone. I'll at least check out the pilot. It's almost the only thing we have left anyway.

IMO, it's the best thing on right now. Of course, there isn't really much competition. Actually, since Monday was the season finale, IT'S not even on now. :p
I agree with most of the others; it's worth watching, unless you don't like end-of-season cliffhangers.

I thought it was in the can for a while... or was that just the pilot? Someone (probably Summer on a talk show) talked about it being filmed last Feb?

I didn't like the part where they melted Arnold.
