Transfer PC to TiVo Fails - Need to Reboot!

This is driving me crazy! When transferring .tivo files from my PC to my computer, the first program usually transfers without problem but, when the first one is done and I try to transfer a second program, I get an error message saying that there was a problem and I should go back and check the file or try to restart the transfer. The only way around this that I've found is to restart my unit. This gets really tedious when you're trying to watch several transferred programs at a clip. Does anyone know what is causing this or - more to the point - how to resolve the problem?

Try just transferring one at a time. Wait for the first one to completely finish, then start the next one. Does that help? I know it's not a perfect solution, but it's better then having to reboot all the time.

Alternatively you could try using pyTiVo instead of TiVo Desktop to transfer the programs.
