Beacon runs but still can't see PC

I have Tivo desktop 2.5.1 installed on a win 2003 server and it looks to be runing just fine, beacon service is runing and I can see my Tivos and download shows. However, I can't see the PC from the Tivos.

Anyone got any suggestions on where to look next?

You don't just need a Beacon, you need a TivoServer, too. Start the desktop, then pull down the server menu (it's the last option before Help) and see if the settings look right. If there is a TivoServer running, you should see a happy little Tivo man in your toolbar.

Could be a firewall issue as well.

I do have the tivo icon in the task bar and the settings look ok - I explicitly gave access to the 2 tivos to see if that helped but didn't change anything else. The PC isn't runing a firewall and I can reach it ok with other PCs.

This might help, perhaps there is an update issue with the Tivobeacon for the TD as well as Galleon ??? Who knows, anyway take a look here. (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=387211)
