I bought a Monoprice HDX-401, but I get a TiVo message stating that my TV is not HDCP compliant and to disconnect the HDMI cable and connect component cables. I've used a couple other switches and didn't have this problem. I would prefer to use the Monoprice switch because I can control it with my Logitech remote.

What's the deal with HDCP? Some of the Monoprice switches are, "HDCP Compliant", some "Support HDCP Compliant devices", and some don't mention HDCP at all. Should I just get one that doesn't mention HDCP in the specs?

After reading through many other posts, I've decided I have some sort of handshake issue. Maybe a non-1.3 switch is what I need. BTW, I have to use a HDMI to DVI cable to connect my TV (older Samsung plasma).

What model Samsung Plasma? Have you talked to Samsung about it... there may be some firmware updates related to HDCP compatibility?

SPP4251. I just don't understand why it works with one HDMI switch and not another.
