TiVo Desktop with ADS Instant Video To-Go or Elgato Turbo.264

From what I've been able to find, I don't believe the TiVo Desktop software is directly compatible with either of the h.264 accelerated encoder devices; namely the ADS Instant Video To-Go (http://www.adstech.com/products/RDX-160/intro/RDX-160_intro.asp?pid=RDX-160) or the Elgato Turbo.264 (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/Accessories/Turbo264/product1.en.html). However, has anyone here experimented with either of these in conjunction with TiVo Desktop?

I've investigated this, and the answer is that the Elgato Turbo.264 works with Roxio Popcorn 3 and TivoToGo to accelerate the transcoding of video. The ADS Instant Video-To-Go does not work with TiVo Desktop.
