I don't know if this has been suggested anywhere else, but I wanted to let everyone know what I found to work and what CCS confirmed for me.
After much trouble shooting (switching from s-video to composite, bypassing multi-switch, swapping cables at the back of the unit, cleaning up my hard drive...) I have finally seemed to resolve my Sat2 issues. It took disconnecting not only the s-video but the second set of audio/video outputs as well. I have no problems on Sat2 now.
CCS confirmed that the more outputs you unload, the better your signal will be on Sat2, but that the outputs will eventually all degrade due to soldering coming loose on the board and you will need to eventually have the unit serviced. CCS acknowledges this problem and will fix it.
I hope this helps at least one person!
