I'm looking for a small TivoDesktop client that runs under WindowsXP. I have TivoDesktop 1.9.3 running on my Mac music server and I'm looking for a small music player that will run on a 128 MB WindowsXP system. Any suggestions?

Hmm, 106 views and not a single response. I guess I can assume there are no small Tivo media clients for Windows.

I guess I'll stick with using MyTunesRSS as the music server and Winamp as the client.

So you want to be able to listen to music files on your Tivo that are saved on your XP box right?

You might look at pyTivo (http://pytivo.armooo.net/). It's a python application that should run on XP. I'm using it under Linux though so I can't vouch for it's resources footprint in XP.

The music is stored on my Mac running iTunes 7.5. I want to play to music on my underpowered XP machine. Can't use iTunes because the XP machine is running an iTunes 6, which can't play music streamed from iTunes 7.5.

You might look at pyTivo (http://pytivo.armooo.net/).He's looking for a client, not a server. Of course there are no HMO clients (lightweight or otherwise) besides the TiVo boxes themselves.

Personally I'd just mount the Mac drive via Samba.
