I know there are several threads regarding this, and I have tried everything I can see, but I still can not get my Tivo to show up in Tivo Desktop.
- Linksys wirelss router
- tivo brand wireless adapter attached to Tivo
- Tivo connects to interent with no problems
- I can browse the Tivo using IE and https:\\address with no problems
- I can ping the Tivo
- The IP address for the Tivo appears in the assigned address section of my router
- I have no known firewalls running
- My Cisco vpn client has the Stateful Firewall off.
- I have open the ports described in a few ports here
- The approprite settings on the Tivo show a,a,a
- I have renamed the Tivo online and restarted
- The Tivo does not see the server either
Getting frustrated with this and I woudl appreciate any useful input with settings or a test to diagnose the problem
