quick installation question

just got my tivo hd and I saw the video on the tivo site about the installation. so what I gather is that i hook up my tivo, run guided setup (or whatever it's called) and update via internet, FIOS guy comes over and installs card...

then do I rerun guided setup while the FIOS tech is still at my house? or do I just flip channels to see if my cable card is working properly? and how do I test that both cable cards are working properly?

I suggest printing out both the install document and troubleshooting document from the Tivo website ahead of time just in case.

Within your Tivo HD's CableCard Diagnostics Screen you can choose to test channels. Once you've tested and ALL your HD channels are coming through the FIOS guy can leave and you can rerun Guided Setup.

Make sure you test the channels on both cards as well. There have been many reports of a channel being missing on just one card.
