View Full Version : 5.1 Audio with Comcast Tivo?

Is anyone having issues with 5.1 audio on Comcast Tivo? I just had mine installed and haven't had a chance to dive into the details but Lost was clearly *not* in 5.1 for me last night. Before I rip everything apart trying to troubleshoot, it would be great to know if this issue is already on the 'bug list'. Thanks!

I believe this is on the bug list and one of the first things that will be fixed with the upcoming update.
There will be a software release rolling out to the field in the next
several weeks that will address many of the issues reported. For
example, Dolby Digital output will work correctly on DCH set-top boxes.

The problem appears to be with the DCH box. I have a DCT box that properly puts out 5.1.
