TiVo HD & San Jose Comcast / Green outlines?
Anyone else recording from basic expanded (No cable card) having this issue?
Issue: Im getting a green outline on all faces and skin tones only when recording from the Comcast (Cable) input.
Equipment Tivo HD
Comcast expanded Basic (No cable Card)
Channel Master OTA UHF
Denon AVR3803
Panasonic 42" EDTV Plasma
Signal Path: TiVo HD>Component cables>Denon AVR3803>Component Cables>Plasma
House Wiring: Comcast Cable is amplified with a channel vision 15db amp then split 8 ways. RG6 Quad structured wire
Troubleshooting: Bypassed the Denon makes no diff/ DVD's look good on the Panny rulling out the Plasma. Tried different Component cables
Observations: The Green outline or hue is present during live & recorded programs only from the CABLE input. OTA in looks perfect.
Oddly enough...Cartoons do not have this green outline...only orangish objects & skin tones.
Other TVs in the house with internal tuners also look fine.
Sounds like a Bad TiVo? or is it Comcast? Purchased 10 days ago
Update: I swapped it for another at Best buy,, Same thing...
Please Help
