So, anyone else been following this "feud"? :D
It's been hilarious, IMO... and on Monday, there was finally the Big Brawl!

I've been following it. I'm not sure to be impressed with their creativity, or concerned that these are the dying gasps of these shows until their writers finally return.
Its has been fun, though - just a bit "strained" at times.

I never knew Conan O'Brien was that tall.

I never knew Conan O'Brien was that tall.
I never knew Jon Stewart was that short.

I love The Daily Show, but to me this is just stupid. Are they running out of real material? You'd think with the primaries and all that they'd have plenty to talk about.

February is sweeps months, so they just had a little fun.

At least that is what they claimed last night when I was watching at around 8:45 CST. I wonder if Colbert or any minions were watching and whether it will fan the flames. Hopefully, the "feud" is dead at this point and they will move onto something else - it was fun, though.

I thought it was fun. I watch all three shows regularly and it was very amusing to watch everything progress over the past couple of weeks. I wasn't in tears laughing over their final confrontation, but it was nice to see them together. It was a lot more entertaining than watching Conan spin his ring on his desk.

I still think it's very surprising that the WGA got mad at Leno for 'writing' his jokes, but what's showing up on any of these other shows is clearly not thought up on the spot.
I think A/The Daily Show & Colbert really aren't *too* much below their norm in quality... and I'm actually watching far more quantity of Conan now than before. (I Tivo all of the late night talk shows, but only watch Letterman.. err, I even have ~115 unwatched Lettermans... But the others I record & FF through, and save musical segments and watch the RARE comedy bit..)
It's a shame, but Conan's bits seem a LOT like Letterman in the early days -- racing cars w/turtles on them (whatever Conan did) vs Letterman racing guys in chairs with fire extinguishers and a lot of other weird races..

That's what I thought too. It was just silly, goofy fun, and enjoyable as a "crossover" kind of thing. I did however end up laughing myself to tears over the final confrontation. :)

Considering that they're not allowed to write any... yeah, probably. :p
