Anyone else having this issue? It seems to mostly happen on sd channels but it has happened once on a hd source.

Sometimes my tivohd fast forwards and/or audio and video get out of sync... I have to hit pause and play to get it to sync back up and it usually happens just a few times during a 30 min. show and it is very random. Doesn't happen all the time and not always on the same shows.

Very Strange!

It's how the Tivo is handling errors in the stream. The S3 used to pixelate pretty badly when it hit errors in the stream. Now it seems to fast forward through the bad section of the program.

This is a problem that is happening in multiple markets, Phoenix being one of them. I am in Chandler and had this issue.. it is infuriating! I imagine you have a TivoHD with 2 S-Cards? You can resolve this issue by swapping them out for a single M-Card. The only hang-up is that there is an issue with M-Cards and TivoHD right now where every few days you will suddenly lose all channels above 22. You can temporarily fix this new issue by rebooting. I have experienced both and can tell you without a doubt that the channel dropping issue is far less irritating. This other issue happens once every 3-10 days or so. As a bonus, moving to a single card will lower your monthly bill a few dollars.

See this thread (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=5889253#post5889253) for more. There are also a few others on this board.

Hope this helps.
