View Full Version : TiVo Rewards Question

Does anyone here know how often the rewards are updated at TiVo Rewards? I finally got enough points to get the Bose QC3 Headphones and they are no longer a reward. I saw them there like two weeks ago. Also saw a portable dvd player and that is gone too.

You're kind of at their mercy. The list has shrunk somewhat over the last couple of weeks. I assume they acquire a fixed number of each of the rewards and when they run out of them, they remove them from the list. At one point they had almost nothing from 10,001 to 24,999 points and I kept bugging them (here in the forum) about it and they eventually added several items. The only things you know they're not going to run out of is the actual TiVo stuff.

Try to contact them separately - maybe they have 1 or two of those items left.

Just my luck too...it took forever to get to 45000 for those headphones. I'm sure eventually they'll be on there again.

I'd love for them to drop the TiVo HD to 30,000 pts...I have an S2 I want to replace in the bedroom....one can at least dream, right?

As far as TiVo rewards go. The DVR's they offer does anyone know if those are refurb units or actually new one. I would hope they'd be new because that would suck to give a referral members whos gotten them alot of business a refurb unit.

Since the rewards program is ending soon there should be little hope TiVo is going to add anything new or restock anything already gone.

That sucks and I got enough points for a pair heh.

I'm trying to figure out what to get since I have to use up my points. I wish I had twice as much...I want that 60 GB iPod.

I saw the Glo-Remote on there for 5000 points less than a month ago and thought about picking up an extra one. When I went in yesterday to pick one up, they'd increased it's cost to 7500 - ugh! I'm totally bummed, I think they are purposefully trying to get us to NOT redeem these points (cheaper for them).

As far as I can remember the glo remotes always been 7500.
