View Full Version : Is Comcast micromanaging my recordings????

Tonight we noticed that when watching a primetime recorded program (deal or no deal), we could NOT fast forward at all. We rebooted the Tivo Unit and it still doesn't work.

Yet... we can watch any other recorded program from tonight and CAN go forward thru commercials.

Is anyone else having this problem?????

Was it a show that you were recording, and you were trying to watch it live? Because I have that too.

:-) Thats the first thing I thought of too.

I seriously doubt anyone, comcast, tivo, etc would control that recording so you couldn't fast forward through it.

Well, DVDs obviously do that... I could swear someone patented that recently for DVRs.. though I too doubt it was actually an issue in this case.. a bug perhaps.

No.. it was recorded earlier in the evening and I was watching it hours later. it certainly wasn't on live at midnight :)
