TIVO with over the air digital

I have a Sony Series 1 TIVO with a lifetime programming subscription. When the conversion to all-digital is made in Feb '09. I would like to use this unit with a digital converter to receive over-the-air programming. Will TIVO continue to provide the appropriate program information lineup for this application?

We are all holding our breath and hoping for some sort of announcement from TiVo on this.

It would currently work with an old activated Voom box but it sure would be nice of Tivo to let us know something as far as the new converter boxes go.

It depends if a digital lineup/guide data and IR codes could be loaded into a Series 1, and software can feed the "-" through the system, without having to rewrite the system software.

Otherwise, you can take them up on the Lifetime transfer offer (if it is still valid, or they offer another), to apply to a digital OTA capable TiVo DVR.
