TiVo TCD649 S2 Dual Tuner Question

Newbie question for planning purposes: I want to hook standard DirecTv to composite inputs and OTA to RF on the TiVo TCD649 Series 2 DT. I understand the analog RF tuner will only receive channels 2-13, but will the dual tuner recording capability work - i.e., record from DirecTv and OTA at the same time? If it does, I also am thinking I can use an OTA to digital/analog converter box on RF input when they become available. Has anyone out there tried this config and have any comments?

If you are insistant on using the analog tuner(s), you can, in a very limited fashion. When you get the digital box, less so, ince you will be tuning channels with the digital box, and using the TiVos analog tuner/encoder to only record from.
