I have a Series 2 with lifetime service (had it for several years). I noticed one of my programs didn't record this morning. When I look at the recording history, it says it wasn't recorded because it was scheduled using a TiVo Plus feature but that I don't have TiVo Plus. I've checked the following:

It can connect to the TiVo service successfully.
I have a full 14 days of guide data
The system information screen says "5: Product Lifetime Service".
The to do list shows that one of my season passes is going to record one episode, but every other episode in that season pass (along with every other season pass) is not recording because of the TiVo Plus problem.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Well, the problem seems to have mystically solved itself. The only thing I did was force it to reconnect to tivo and wait a few hours. However, I don't have a clue why that would have mattered, since it had complete guide data and also was displaying the lifetime service even before I did the reconnect.

Anyway, everything looks fine now. However, I'm not the slightest bit happy that something like this would show up without any explanation, and then disappear just as mysteriously.
