Today's NY Times Circuits - partial download

Hopefully TivoStephen will read this.

Today's Circuits (HDTV Shopper's Survival Guide) that download, ended prematurely just when they were about to answer the question about the size of the HD TV to get. The duration also listed as "0:05 (Partial)" when the find program screen listed it as being 6 minutes. This was on a S3 model 648.

I figured maybe it was a network problem on my end so I downloaded it to my other TiVo box (S2 model 240) with the same result.

So it looks like a publishing problem.

edit: 3rd try (to S3) completed.

Yep, same thing here.

I think it's happened another time within the past month or so - I think it was another Circuits clip.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue -- get complete downloads on all my test units.

Can you do me a favor and delete the one you got, then try again?

I wonder if we at first published a partial file and then corrected it within a short period of time, but you two got unlucky.

I just set it up to download it again. I'll update this post when it finishes.

It completed this time. So I guess it must have updated within the last few hours.

I'd gotten a partial. When I was finished, I deleted it and manually re-requested it. That was a partial too.

Downloaded it a 3rd time (to my S3) and this time it downloaded fully.

The weird thing is I downloaded it to 2 different TiVo boxes (one S3 model 648 and one S2 model 240) at two different times and it ended in the same exact spot. This leads me to believe it published and was wrong for a few hours and then published again. That or some TiVo boxes stopped prematurely for some reason.

Very bizarre. Don't have an explanation for this yet; we're investigating.

For folks with posts above, can you go back and edit in whether you have this problem on a Series2 or a Series3?

Happened for me on both a sereis 2 DT and a TiVo HD = both in the exact same spot. It was the HDTV shoppers 'Survival guide' episode. had 5 movie reviews also downlaod around same time and all those were complete

will email my TSNs a little later

This episode (downloaded automatically on Friday) was cut short for me too, at the exact spot the OP mentioned.
When I downloaded it manually (through Swivel Search) today, it was cut short at exactly the same spot.

This is on a Series 3.

I've downloaded it three times to my S2 and it's been partial every time.
