Comcast TiVo - IR Signals

I have had 2 Comcast DVRs for quite sometime in the same room; and have an issue with IR signals controlling both boxes and have to block the front of the box that I am not using.

Does anyone know if the Moto boxes with TiVo use the same Moto IR codes; or does the TiVo software modify them at all? I'd love to be able to have both boxes next to eachother and not inadvertently change the channels on the 2nd box.

My understanding (but I don't know for sure) is that the IR signals are the same. Motorola's current generation of DVRs (DCH-series/DCT-series) don't support addressable remote control codes. They're clearly not intended to be used two-in-a-room.
