I just got a Comcast Motorola 3412 I Tivo box and while it works, it clearly is pretty buggy. I'd like to hear from others if they are seeing the same problems, or is this a problem with just my system.
When doing a search by name, it will only show the first couple of pages of names in alpha order. For example entering just "T" it won't get beyond "Ta...", finding a total of only 12 shows. There are many more listings such as everything starting with "Th" which it will show if I enter "TH".
When searching by channel, it shows all the shows in time order, and I can scroll through the list. However, if I use the page up and down, it does the page, then a couple of seconds later it jumps back down one line.
Also for the PBS series "Waking the Dead", there is no option for getting a season pass even though the listing shows multiple upcoming different shows. I can manually record these, but there isn't even an option for season pass. This is the only program I've noticed this on. The same program can be setup for a season pass with a Series 1 Tivo.
