It's better than that other bowl. Yes, I'll watch some of it. It's a wonderful game where the score doesn't matter.

My kids look forward to this every year. I'll put it on a DVD and they'll watch it over and over for weeks.

I had completely forgotten about the Puppy Bowl, I believe I will Tivo this for my daughter, she'll love it.

How funny - I've actually never seen any of this because unlike you heathens (;)); I watch the game. Of course I'd heard of it, but I thought it was just footage of puppies for 3 hours. I just checked out part of last years on youtube; I did not realize that it's live and had some structure and they put the 'players' on a fake field with a ref., etc. :)

I think I'll have to set that TiVo thingy...

It's on multiple times, not just during the game.

We always record it and watch it in 10 minute spurts for weeks afterwards :)

I thought the Samoyed puppies stole the show last year. They couldn't play worth a hoot, but they were so damned cute!

The puppy bowl has some cute features. The bowl cam that shows them drinking out of a transparent bowl. The referees who clean up little oopsies on the field. It is well done.

I see that Animal Planet will replay it a couple more times today but that's it. No more later this week. So if you want to record the whole thing better set the Tivo up as soon as you get home.

I used to watch, but after the Blackdots scandal a couple of years (the dalmatians took a large amount of Snausages to shave points) ago I gave up on it.

My dog still watches, though.

I watched quite a bit of it, as it aired in its entirety before the game started.

The Welsh corgi puppy was absolutely adorable, if somewhat shy -- (s)he kept hiding in the entry tunnel. The small-dog puppies seemed a lot feistier than the large-dog ones.

The MVP, Abigail -- what breed was she? And was she hopped up on puppy crack? Her repeated assaults on the water dish and zooms around the field were hilarious!

I've only watched the first 15 or so but that REALLY large puppy was so much fun. I can't remember the breed but he was 14 weeks and 50 something lbs. A gentle giant :)

I know, but we don't need a second dog, and they're all in Maryland.

So Abigail was a Jack Russell terrier. That figures. She had so much energy she must've swallowed 4 or 5 Energizer bunnies.
