I literally had to unplug my sister's setup box and plug the cable directly into her TV before she would believe she didn't need the box! The Cable company was using it to *reduce* the total # of channels available to her based on the package she purchased. It was the first time I'd heard of excluding non-movie channels below 99. Without the box, she got all of the extended cable channels.

I can't hate. That's capitalism for you. It's still pretty sneaky, though :D
