NBC renews ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ for 2nd cycle
‘We are already getting calls from high-profile celebrities,’ reality chief says

LOS ANGELES - NBC has picked up “The Celebrity Apprentice” for a second cycle.

The order completes a strong comeback for the “Apprentice” franchise, which had been canceled in May before new NBC programming chief Ben Silverman brought it back with a celebrity version.

I'll watch, I think seeing these celebrities is a great deal more entertaining than people I've never seen before.

I think they need to bring Baldwin back and add Corbin Bernsen.

I still haven't watched any of the episodes... I'm just too embarrassed for them about the whole thing. I'll have to get drunk and overcome my inhibitions soon and watch it.

They are just desperate for programming.
How they spin it is laughable.

have you watched the show?

Twice each episode- once when it airs and again the following evening with the hub.

You do realize the whole show was cancelled previous to this "Celebrity" incarnation? Trump tried to spin it to look like he was the one leaving but the show really had been dumped from the schedule despite his (Trumps) remaining contractually obligated. The only reason they brought it back was because Trump agreed to split with NBC a 50/50 share of the money that companies pay the show for pimping their products during challenges, estimated at $2-3 million per episode. His ego requires a near constant television presence.

For that money NBC would air anything.
