Transfer Service To New Tivo Box HELP!!!

I purchased a Tivo Series 2 DT in aug/sept of last year from tivo.com and I purchased a 3 year prepaid subscription to service and I just had to replace my TV with a 42" Plasma HDTV and I need to get the new Series 3 HD Tivo Box from amazon and was wondering if I would encounter any problems using the "Transfer Service" link in my account on tivo.com???

It states:

Change TiVo Service Number

You can change your TiVo Service Number online if either of these situations apply:

* You activated your DVR and then exchanged it through your retailer or through the manufacturer and now need to update the TiVo Service Number on your account
* You need to correct the TiVo Service Number that you initially activated

Also: Would there be any problems selling the Series 2 Box on eBay???

You should not have any problem. You should be able to do the change online. The S3 will activate and the DT will become inactive.

You won't have any problem selling it on Ebay. I would suggest transferring all of the recordings you want to your PC using TiVoToGo and then do an CLEAR AND DELETE EVERYTHING before you transfer service and sell the old box.
