How do i find which firmware i have? Can go back to a previous one?What do you mean by firmware and what model tivo do you have? is it a directv tivo or something else? Press directv button->messages and settings->system information. That will show you the software version.

If you are referring to your software version, you can't 'go back' to a previous one unless you are familiar with procedure for pulling the hard drive, connecting it to a PC and reimaging it with an older software version.

I'm assuming you are tired of the buggy ver 6.3x and want to go back to the rock stable ver 6.2a.
