Ballroom fans, it's that time again:

AMERICA'S BALLROOM CHALLENGE is the exciting series that brings together top ballroom dancers from around the world to compete across dance styles for the title of "America's Best." The series returns for a third season with five one-hour episodes. Shot in high definition at the world's largest ballroom dancing competition in Columbus, Ohio, season three of AMERICA'S BALLROOM CHALLENGE airs Wednesdays, January 30-February 27, 2008, 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on PBS.

With the writers' strike changing everything this year, the chance of the show conflicting with your existing SPs is much smaller than previous years, but even so -- check your local listings for details in your area, and meet me in TV Show Talk once the first episode has aired. :D

I wish that my local PBS station would run this when it first airs. Last year they waited until April or May to air this. This year it isn't listed in the guide either. I'll just have to wait.

May I suggest an ARWL?

That's how I found out one of the PBS stations in my area was also running recaps of some of the international competitions.

Thanks... I cannot wait! This show is what inspired me to take dance lessons...

We watched this show last year and loved it. I think it helped to see how its really done and then watched Dancing with the Stars and was able to see things more like the judges viewed the dances.
