I have a TiVoHD unit that loses all channels and audio. It will happen sometimes when turning on to watch TV or when I go into the menu to look at info or when I do a TiVo connect. When I leave the menu and return to live TV I have no picture (gray screen) or audio. Also at this time if I go to TiVo central I have the menu but with a black background (the Hollywood type lighting and search light graphics are missing). This is happening on both tuners. The only way to recover is by doing a Restart from the menu or unplug the unit and plug it back in. After this everything is back to normal until it decides to do it again. I can not repeat this problem, it just happens randomly. This the second unit. TiVo sent me a new replacement unit and the same thing is happening. I currently have a Scientific Atlanta MCARD installed. But this also occurs with Scientific Atlanta SCARD's. I swapped out the TiVo HD with my other Series3 and I did not see the problem with the Series3. I hooked up the TiVo HD where the series3 was and the problem followed the HD box. My signal strength and SNR loss if excellent (signal strength is 95 - 100, and SNR is around 24db).
