TiVO HD Guide question...

I just hooked up my new TiVO HD...I don't have Comcast yet, so I ran the guided set up just with my OTA - so far so good, have run a couple of updates, but am still at 8-something.
Two quickies- What version should it eventually update to, and I notice that on the info screen, it says TV GUIDE on the lower left corner. I thought the listings for TiVO came from Tribune...? IS this new?

You should be at 9.2. If you keep forcing a connection, it will eventually update. When you get back to the phone and network screen and it says "pending restart" under status, you will know it is going to update software.

The TV Guide agreement has been around since 2003. It is just there as a part of a patent dispute. Guide data comes from Tribune as always.

Thanks - I've had a TiVO since series 1 and I've never noticed a TV Guide logo on any of the screens before. However, after I posted, I did also notice a copyright for Tribune.

However, after I posted, I did also notice a copyright for Tribune.Anyone that wants to provide a program guide must license the Gemstar patents, and one of the conditions of that license is the display of a TVGuide logo.
