I got Verizon Fios installed last fall and they only had S-cards at the time (though they called them M-cards because they were from Motorola rather than Scientific Atlanta). Has anyone with Verizon Fios gotten a true M-Card?

Verizon plans to roll out M-CARDs shortly after it increases CableCard rates to $3.99/mo for new installs. I believe that increase is supposed to happen in about a month, so you might check back again.
For TivoHD owners, 1x $3.99 is better than 2x $2.99.
If you haven't signed up for Verizon FiOS, you'll want to do so very soon, because FiOS rates increase from $42.99/mo to $47.99/mo in about a month (delayed from January 20).
If you sign up before then, you keep the $42.99/mo rate until 2009.

I have a $109.99 rate for almost 2 more years (phone, Internet and cable). I am also locked in for that time, but phone and Internet cost almost that much already (and I now get 15 M down), so TV is almost free. :)
I do add 4 Cable Cards to that, so it is a bit more, but still acceptable for the bundle.

Well, 1 x $3.99 + $24.99 "truck roll", assuming they're still requiring that at that point. That makes it not quite as pretty, taking a bit longer to recoup the savings. In my case, though, I've got two TiVo HDs, so the one-time fee is less painful if I could swap out all my cards at the same time.

Anyone have M-cards with FiOS? Anyone in Redondo Beach in Particular?

I'll keep my 8 single stream cards instead of incurring a truck roll. Although only two FIOS cable cards are in a TiVoHD so I guess it reall would be worth it anyway unless the Series 3 boxes are able to use the multistream cards.
I pay an extra $24 for these cards while Comcast charges zero. I wish FIOS would at least cut the charge in half.

$3.99 per month? Bummer. Comcast gave me my first M card free and let me install it. Well at least Fios will not be HD Lite (?) when it comes here later this summer.

RCN charges my parents $1.50 per M-card (I do not think any are included). That means that they pay about the same for all 5 they have as they did for one extra box on DirecTv. For them that was a savings of $15 a month, not counting the service price decrease. Adding TiVo HD with all its functionality instead of being forced to choose between TiVo receivers' functionality and interface and DirecTv's DVR extra content made switching easy.
I am still curious if anyone has M-cards anywhere with FiOS?

I think the first m-cards that verizon will have out will probably be in the 7000 series stbs when those are released.

I think in July the m cards will be rolled out. S cards will still be used where they still have them and the price will be the same.
